Job Title: Operations Performance Lead - Constructive
Salary: Circa £55,000 commensurate with skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and manage Team Leaders within Constructive functions, ensuring performance aligns with company standards and professional behaviours.
* Optimise resource allocation and utilisation by reviewing strategies and schedules to maximise workforce efficiency and programme delivery.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, aligning with operational excellence goals and the broader Warship Support team's objectives.
* Monitor and assess sub-contracted work levels, evaluating opportunities for in-house resource utilisation through outsourcing versus internal capability analysis.
* Ensure high standards for health, safety, and environmental compliance, promoting a culture of risk awareness, incident reporting, and continuous improvement.
* Review and optimise shift patterns, working hours, and flexible work arrangements to improve workforce efficiency and productivity.
Your skills and experiences:
* Qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical).
* Extensive knowledge and experience in a directly related field (e.g., Resourcing, Recruitment, Business Management, Project Management).
* In-depth understanding of resource management and workforce planning.
* Extensive knowledge of discipline-specific processes and procedures necessary for executing trade-related tasks.
* Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
* Familiarity with conducting monthly business reviews, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and budgeting.
* Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and negotiate outcomes effectively.
* Supports the development of solutions and the implementation of strategic approaches.
* Experience in Marine Industry - desirable.

The Operations Performance Team - Constructive: The Operations Performance Lead in Constructive is responsible for supporting the Operational Performance Manager in optimising workforce performance and ensuring programme continuity. The team is responsible for maintenance of the vessel and consists mainly of Platers (Steel and Light), Ship rights, Welders, Laminators, and Joiners.
