We are working with a fantastic Engineering company based in Yeovil, who are looking for a Sales Co-ordinator for this permanent role. The Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for calling and generating outbound calls as well as responding to incoming calls from existing or new customers.
Within this role you will also be processing orders through to doing the quotations, liaising internally to get the right information and following up with those customers to ensure the whole sales cycle is complete to getting the order placed. You'll generate purchase orders and ensure the internal administration is complete, including responding to email requests. There will also be the account management of existing customers and you will be responsible for managing their business and in the future their may be the possibility of going out to visit them too.
We'll need you to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
* This role is looking for someone who ideally (but not essential) comes from an Engineering or Tooling background with experience of doing sales calls and business development.
* Experience of putting quotes together
* Experience of managing customers and developing their business
* The applicant must be articulate and confident to speak to people on the phone and also face to face
* Competent at following a process
* Numerate - able to put a quote together accurately every time
* Computer literate
