Specification Sales Manager
The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for a Specification Sales Manager to join a global leader in the heat tracing field. This home-based role will require 70% travel across the UK & Ireland, focusing on specifying heat tracing solutions to data centre environments. Your primary aim will be to prevent downtime due to temperature-related issues, ensuring pipes do not freeze, servers remain operational, and buildings are free of ice and snow. You'll engage directly with end-users, including data centre owners, operators, and maintenance teams, to create demand for these solutions.
Additionally, you'll work closely with M&E Consultants and Contractors involved in data centre projects across EMEAI, driving the specification of the company's products and securing framework agreements from a UK base. This is a new business-focused role where your first 12 months will be dedicated to building a strong pipeline, with revenue generation taking centre stage in year two. You will also be required to conduct seminars and attend trade events regularly to promote the company's innovative solutions.
Requirements:
To be considered for the Specification Sales Manager role, you'll need:
* Experience in mechanical or electrical sales, preferably in building services solutions.
* Previous exposure to selling into the data centre market or working with M&E Consultants and Contractors in this sector.
* Strong ability to engage with all levels of the specification chain, from end-users to major consultants and contractors.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to drive new business and manage key accounts.
* A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a passion for innovation in the heat tracing field.

The Package for Specification Sales Manager:
* Up to £65,000 basic salary
