Sales Associate | Harrods | Full Time - 37.5 hours including evenings and weekends | £25,000 - £28,000 Basic, depending on experience

As a Sales Associate, you will be a key representative of the brand, offering customers knowledge across all of their product categories. Your role will involve delivering an outstanding client experience, fostering relationships and driving sales by sharing with them the diverse product offerings. Additionally, you will support complex projects, ensuring seamless execution and resolution of any challenges that arise in boutique operations, client relations, or special initiatives contributing to the success of the boutique.

* Experience in retail, hospitality, or a related client-facing environment
* Strong ability to manage projects, resolve issues, and handle complex client needs
* Passion for fine craftsmanship, design, and artistic heritage
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Enjoy working collaboratively, thriving as part of a team and supporting others, whilst equally comfortable working on your own
* Goal-oriented with a refined and proactive approach to sales
* Professional presentation and attention to detail
* Availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support administrative tasks and reporting needs
* Fluency in additional languages is welcomed
* Perform heavy lifting (up to 20kg) for inventory management, stocking, and store setup as needed
What will your role look like?
Client Experience & Sales:
* Provide a warm and engaging welcome to every client
* Provide expert advice on Lalique’s diverse product offerings, including crystal, jewellery, fragrances, and interior design collections
* Share the stories of our artisans and the unique savoir-faire behind each piece, educating customers on the craftsmanship and history that defines us
* Guide clients through a personalised journey, offering thoughtful recommendations through product benefits
* Achieve sales targets while ensuring an elevated experience tailored to each client’s needs
Client Relationship Management:
* Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
* Maintain a client portfolio and provide personalised follow-ups
* Invite clients to exclusive brand experiences, product unveilings, and private events
Project Management & Problem-Solving:
* Oversee complex client-related projects such as special orders, custom pieces, or unique requests, ensuring the process is handled efficiently from start to finish
* Anticipate and resolve challenges related to product availability, logistics, or boutique operations
* Collaborate with internal teams to manage special events, partnerships, and high-profile sales
* Handle any client concerns with professionalism, providing quick and effective resolutions
Boutique Operations & Presentation:
* Ensure the boutique reflects the artistry and refinement of our company
* Maintain visual merchandising in line with brand standards
* Support inventory management and stock organisation
* Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Brand Representation:
* Embody the values and elegance of Lalique in every interaction
* Stay informed about the brand’s history, techniques, and evolving collections
* Participate in training and brand events to continuously enhance expertise

Interview Process
The first round of interviews for shortlisted candidates will begin in April with the Concession Manager and the Assistant Concession Manager (in person where possible). Second interviews will take place in May with the UK Director and Concession Manager (in person). Successful candidates will be announced in mid-May for a June/July start.
