Urenco UTD are looking for a Business Analyst within the Isotopes team. This job is grade 13G.
Based at our Capenhurst location, you'll support the collection, monitoring, and implementation of requirements in relation to the design and delivery of operating model transition, business change, and strategic growth initiatives.
The Portfolio Team will ensure that the Isotopes Team Function is set up with the appropriate operating model, people, governance, and architecture to meet the Isotopes strategy and align with wider Urenco goals. The Function will set the rigour and structure around ways of working and delivery, ensuring consistent management, processes, and expectations. It is recognised that the anticipated growth of the Isotopes business will mean that the Portfolio Function will need to be responsive and agile to the needs of the business, acknowledging the differences between Isotopes and the core business.
What you'll do:
1. Secretary for meetings, including the coordination and production of the supporting Reporting Pack.
2. Involved in business analysis for Isotopes Oversight Committee, Operational Excellence Forum, Commercial Excellence Forum, Product Innovation Forum.
3. Produce the Monthly Report on behalf of the Head of Isotopes and relevant financial submissions on behalf of the Head of Portfolio.
4. Act as the central point of contact for the submission of Isotopes business cases through the relevant approval route as confirmed by the Delegations of Financial Authority. Supports the progress of the approval steps through to final submission of the relevant documents.
5. Supports and monitors the progression of Business Cases through maintaining the Isotopes projects list and identifies the key interfaces and timings required to ensure that committee dates are communicated and clear.
6. Develop and maintain the Isotopes Process Summary and Meeting Schedules.
7. Produce and maintain the Isotopes Business Management Process including providing support to: Risk, Business Planning, High level long term planning.
8. Tracking and reporting of Revenue forecasts.
9. Support the development and implementation of the Isotopes vision and strategy through involvement at workshops, employee communications, and involvement with the lead teams.
10. Coordinating the review process to track progress against the Isotopes strategy and Operational Excellence programme for Isotopes.
11. Manage or contribute to the delivery of specific strategic, new business, or commercial programmes of work as required.
12. Analyses and develops existing business processes to support understanding of areas of improvement and impact of change initiatives to ways of working.
13. Understands and monitors the financial models and documents that underpin the strategic growth initiatives and long-term business plan.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
1. A good base of general nuclear knowledge.
2. Degree or equivalent level qualification.
3. Reporting writing skills.
4. Proven negotiation and communication skills.
5. Excellent IT skills - particularly in Microsoft Office, Excel.
6. Ability to build relationships and pose professional challenge at all levels of the organisation.
7. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines.
8. Proactive and self-motivated, with ability to work on own initiative.
9. Excellent communication skills, with a confident approach to dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
