Job Advert Role Description
Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and has 77 beds over seven wards including Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, PICU, Rehabilitation and Recovery, Addiction treatment and general psychiatry.
We are looking to employ a full-time, enthusiastic occupational therapy assistant to work on our psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU).
You will be working under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist, supporting therapeutic goals and improving the care and lives of individuals, via 1:1 and group-based interventions.
Under the guidance of the occupational therapist, you will be involved in proactively planning and delivering therapy groups on the ward, encouraging involvement, and helping with developing practical skills and social interactions. You will also be responsible for effectively and accurately updating clinical records and computerised information.
