AV Technician
Location: London, UK
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 (dependent on experience)

Your Responsibilities:
As an AV Technician, you will work in some of the best venues and hotels in the UK, playing an integral part in the planning and preparation of events, responsible for delivery and setup from small meetings to large-scale productions.
Equipment Operation
* Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment prior to an event.
* Ensure a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audio-visual equipment.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
* Comply with all Company security and safety measures.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
* Report all health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite.
* Work as part of a team on larger scale projects.
Customer Service
* Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
* Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
* Meet with guests on site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is working properly.
* Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
* Understand and foster the hotel/venue/client relationship.
Technical Ability
* Demonstrate basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues.
* Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.
Systems Knowledge
* Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
* Use equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for setup and strike.
* Increase revenue by utilizing floor up-selling techniques.
* Work with clients to finalize invoices.
What You Bring:
* Previous experience within the Service and Hospitality industry is preferable.
* Previous experience in AV / Live events is preferred.
* Previous audio-visual experience, or equivalent in an educational environment, is beneficial.
