Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner to support the UK Consulting team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months.
As a large proportion of the Senior stakeholders are based in Aberdeen, the position is ideally based in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis. However, we are open to considering hybrid work from any of our UK offices for the right candidate.

The Role
As the Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP), you will be responsible for delivering the people agenda across the UK Consulting division. You will partner with managers, providing advice on people management practices and supporting the execution of the business plan.
Your responsibilities include providing guidance and coaching for effective people management, developing and implementing solutions to support leaders throughout the employee lifecycle.
You will also manage a team of three HR BP and HR Advisors, and support the Consulting Leadership globally, offering opportunities to expand your international network and coordinate activities outside the UK as needed.
This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, experience as an HRBP, and a proven track record in managing Employee Relations cases independently across diverse internal stakeholders in multiple locations.
This position offers exposure to various service lines and plays a key role in advancing the energy transition and digital agenda within the energy sector.

* Degree in HR or business management (significant experience may be considered)
* Experience as a generalist HR Business Partner in a dynamic organization
* Experience managing change and working collaboratively in business partnerships
* Knowledge of HR practices and legislative frameworks
* Experience handling industrial and employee relations issues
* Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-cultural relationships
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
