Based at our Norton Bottoms offices, located between Lincoln and Newark on Trent, we’re recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
To receive customer orders, then plan and co-ordinate the delivery of concrete while maintaining a high level of truck utilisation. To provide an exceptional level of customer service with a focus for on time delivery.
The key accountabilities and work outputs are:
* Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
* Proactive planning and tracking orders to completion, keeping customers informed
* Cost effective dispatch planning of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
* Telephone and email contact to and from customers
* Timely response to customers’ enquiries, queries, and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
* Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required
* Communicating effectively with commercial and production teams and haulage partners
* Identifying and contributing to managing your own personal development in collaboration with your line manager

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Customer service experience
* Excellent written and communication skills
* The ability to build rapport quickly
* Good attention to detail
* Efficient multi-tasker
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Familiarity of the local geographical area is desirable
If you have existing experience or knowledge of the concrete industry, great, however for us that’s not the be all and end all! You will be required to be flexible in the hours that you work, as the role will involve working some Saturdays.
