Main duties of the job To provide professional administration to support the Education and Practice Development team, which consists of: The Practice Placement Facilitator Team The Preceptorship and Nursing Apprenticeship Team Clinical Education Team Admin and Funding Team To act as first point of contact for all staff, students and line managers, to provide routine advice, guidance and support to book onto relevant sessions, workshops and study days to meet their educational needs. To support and facilitate the provision of study days / workshops including arranging venues, equipment and speakers as needed, sending reminders, producing registers and distribution of certificates for compliance as appropriate. The post holder will also develop and maintain databases to record all these activities. To establish links and liaise with both internal and external colleagues and organisations. To effectively maintain information data systems, ensuring the systems used maximise efficiency and provide essential data required for organisational reporting. To regularly communicate confidential, sensitive and contentious information with the team and health care staff, adhering to confidentiality regulations, in an effective, caring and compassionate manner.
