Role: Contracts Manager
Location: Yorkshire (mainly West Yorkshire)
Salary/Package: £100,000 + Package
Our client, a TIER 1 contractor, is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis to cover current and up-and-coming developments within the Yorkshire region.
Main Duties:
1. Drafting and revising contracts
2. Ensuring that all contracts are accurate and relevant documentation is correct and updated when necessary
3. Preparing Programme of works
4. Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and suppliers
5. Developing plans to fit the schedule of works
6. Identifying ways to increase efficiency and improve productivity
7. Corresponding with external stakeholders to document all activities
8. Compiling and delivering presentations to clients and suppliers
9. In charge of H&S and delivering H&S presentations
10. Collecting and collating data for forecasting and planning purposes
Key Personal Skills:
1. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
2. Knowledge of the tendering and bidding process for multi-disciplinary projects
3. Proven management and leadership skills
4. Knowledge of project management software
5. Understanding of contract conditions and relevant industry regulations
6. Risk assessment and management skills
7. Excellent attention to detail
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
