Role objectives:
· Oversee and manage the performance of primary factory global dispatches both to UK 3PL and US D2C
· Daily management of warehouse and carrier vendors, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs vs forecast and mitigating any known issues.
· Own proof of concept Ops processes and scale to automation
· Manage BAU B2B and B2C order processing, ensuring orders are fulfilled and fixing any order processing issues (e.g. backorders, tech integration errors etc.)
· Support Customer Service with Logistics queries
· Manage claims process with warehouse and carrier partners
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure accurate and timely order processing to facilitate factory dispatches (labels and supporting pick files)
· Reconcile forecast and projected dispatch volumes with factory staffing and productivity planning
· Analyse and maintain dispatch SLA performance (day 0 order transmission to carrier handover)
· Support factory with any order exceptions
· Align with Merchandising team on any stock related issues relating to dispatches
· Maintain global dispatch tracker to allow CS to track shipment progress and support customer queries
· Identify any courier lead time issues if they arise
· Oversee logistics slack/email channels to support CS queries and provide resolutions to order exceptions
· Submit claims in the relevant portals/channels based on SLA failures for carriers/warehouses/factories
· Support Ops team on any wider topics as required
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of operations experience within ecommerce/retail
· Proven experience managing global dispatches, preferably in eCommerce or logistics.
· Strong skills in process automation and scaling operational workflows.
· Proficiency in handling logistics queries and collaborating with customer service teams.
· Excellent data analysis skills to monitor dispatch performance and troubleshoot order exceptions.
· Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail for managing forecasts, SLAs, and shipment tracking.
· Effective communication skills to align with teams across operations, merchandising, and customer support.
· Experience with logistics management tools and systems is a plus.
· A strong ability to be agile and ‘get things done’ across your workload
