About us: We’re the UK branch of a leading global publishing company specialising in dental and medical content. Our close-knit team creates a supportive, welcoming atmosphere where collaboration and growth come naturally. We work in an informal, friendly environment that values both professional development and a good work-life balance.
The role: We’re seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional to join our team and take the reins of our marketing efforts across the full marketing mix. In this role, you’ll work with our diverse portfolio—covering books, journals, events, podcasts, webinars, and other digital media—to boost awareness, usage, engagement, and conversions. You’ll also manage our well-established database and work to bring in new leads, with occasional involvement in events and sales.
As this is a standalone role, you’ll have the chance to truly make it your own, growing and thriving within our team. We’re committed to your professional development and will provide training to help you succeed. Plus, you’ll collaborate closely with our global marketing teams, so you’ll have plenty of support and resources to help you along the way.
Duties include:
· Developing, implementing, and executing a B2C and B2B marketing strategy that aligns with company objectives
· Monitoring and evaluating campaign performance to ensure effectiveness
· Creating multi-touchpoint campaigns across traditional and digital channels, with editorial support for proofreading
· Writing design briefs for graphic designers to bring your creative ideas to life in global print and digital communications (experience with Canva or Photoshop is a bonus, not required)
· Crafting engaging, on-brand copy that enhances campaigns while adhering to brand guidelines, with initial support from our editorial team
· Travelling across the EMEA region to represent our portfolio at events and exhibitions, promoting our products and services internationally
· Identifying and managing corporate and media partnerships, meeting with authors, and negotiating corporate agreements
· Collaborating with our global marketing teams to develop annual marketing plans for the UK and EMEA territories
· Managing the marketing budget to optimise resources and maximise impact
· Updating and managing content on the company website and Amazon
· Organising and attending exhibitions to represent our brand and connect with audiences
· Analysing campaign performance and providing reports and updates as needed
The ideal candidate:
· Is enthusiastic about learning and eager to develop new skills
· Is curious and open to exploring ways to improve and optimise our processes—we’re always open to change
· Holds a degree in marketing or a CIM qualification
· Entry-level candidates are welcome; 1 year of experience in marketing.
· Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Is able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work within budgets
The package: £25,000 - £30,000 per year based on experience + an end-of-year bonus. 25 days of annual leave (with extra days added for long service), all bank holidays, and a full week off between Christmas and New Year. You’ll work a flexible hybrid setup—two days in the office and three days from home—as well as finishing early every Friday to kickstart your weekend. For those who love to explore, we provide opportunities for global travel, primarily across the EMEA region. Additional perks include a pension contribution, death-in-service coverage, and support for professional qualifications to help you grow your career.
