What You’ll Do: Reconciliation & Ledger Management: Reconcile bank accounts, purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, and other balance sheet accounts for a portfolio of clients. VAT & Management Accounts: Assist in preparing VAT returns and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Client Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, addressing queries and providing exceptional advisory services. Issue Resolution: Identify and communicate any issues on client assignments to the appropriate line manager. Timely Delivery: Complete assignments within the allocated budget and on time, showcasing your efficiency and dedication. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Proven bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or industry. Software Skills: Good knowledge of Xero and Sage 50. Client Portfolio Management: Experience working across a portfolio of clients is a plus. Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing effectively with clients, colleagues, and HMRC. Organisation & Problem-Solving: Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills; able to use initiative, multi-task, and work quickly and accurately to meet regular deadlines. Why Join Us?
