Job Title:
Commercial Manager / Gosport / Up to £66k + 15% Bonus
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to support the execution of a high-profile defence contract. This is a full-time role that involves managing customer relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and driving strategic initiatives.
You will be the key liaison between internal teams and our government customer, contributing to the success of a vital programme. This role offers professional development opportunities, a collaborative environment, and the chance to work on impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Interpret, negotiate, and administer complex contracts.
* Customer Engagement: Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.
* Proposal Development: Lead and present business proposals and change requests.
* Performance Monitoring: Manage and report on contract KPIs and incentives.
* Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align business and financial priorities.
* Problem Solving: Summarize contractual issues and lead risk mitigation efforts.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
* IACCM, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of Qualifying Defence Contracts and government contracting.
* Experience working in fast-paced, diverse environments with a high degree of independence.
Eligibility:
* Must have the legal right to work in the UK (UK Citizenship required for security clearance).
