SEND Teacher based in Warrington needed £20 - £35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications Full-time, long-term Location: Warrrington Hours: 15 hours per week About the Role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join our team and deliver engaging, accessible lessons on a one to one basis with a primary age student with autisim, This role will include supporting the student with the whole curriculum which is delivered by other tutors. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths or Science lessons for SEND students, adapting content to suit individual learning needs. Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals to ensure tailored learning plans are in place. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and relevant professionals. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to engage and thrive. Support students' social and emotional development alongside academic progress. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Maths or Science. Experience working with SEND students in an educational setting. Strong understanding of SEND strategies and how to differentiate teaching to accommodate a range of learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Desirable: Additional qualifications in SEND or experience working in a specialist SEND school.
