SEMH Tutor Bridlington £ 29 ,800 - £40,625 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: ASAP The School and Role A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs school in LOCATION is seeking to appoint a full or part time S EMH Tutor. As a SEMH tutor/mentor you would be required to offer support to the student from a couple of hours to multiple sessions a week and be required to complete weekly feedback forms on the students' progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence. We are looking for tutors to work 1-2-1 with Looked After Children (LAC). These sessions can take place in schools, care homes, foster homes, libraries etc. We also provide tutors to alternative and mainstream education settings that support children and young adults with SEMH as well as ASD, ADHD, Asperger's, MLD, and challenging behaviours.. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEND T utor you will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary or Secondary Experience working with Secondary aged children. Experience with managing behaviour Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA's A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
