Here at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our 2025 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for a Hotel Housekeeping Manager to join our AWESOME Hotel Operations Team! Our Hotel Housekeeping Manager will look after the Housekeeping teams for both of our Brick-tastic hotels and our beautiful LEGOLAND Woodland Village lodges and barrels. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for the daily running of the department which covers all guest bedrooms, public areas within the accommodation buildings, back of house areas and delivery / collection of all linens and towels.
Our overnight guests have the opportunity to make their short break even more special, and the housekeeping team play a huge part in the enjoyment of their stay. From beautifully presented clean and tidy rooms to welcoming, litter free public areas our guests should receive the highest possible standards of cleanliness in alignment with the LEGO brand guidelines.
As a dedicated people manager, you will bring your previous experience to create and nourish an inclusive and positive working environment for your team, championing a culture of coaching, inclusion and guest excellence. You will have new and innovative initiatives to celebrate success, conduct performance reviews, seek out development opportunities for high performers and collaborate with stakeholders from across the wider resort.
The Hotel Housekeeping Manager will utilise guest KPIs to identify trends and proactively solve guest issues, while maintaining the department budget to operate efficiently and aligned with industry trends and evolving guest expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Previous experience in a Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Team Leader function is essential, ideally in a large or multiple site hotel
2. You will be an experienced leader with a passion for developing your team and exceeding guest expectations
3. You should have previously held a department budget, with a keen awareness of managing costs effectively to optimise your resources (both stock and labour budgets)
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with hotel management systems such as OPERA PMS are beneficial
5. Previous experience with risk assessments, COSHH and health and safety compliance
6. An excellent communicator, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and empowering your team to do the same
7. About the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort
We are looking for a Hotel Housekeeping Manager to join our AWESOME team at the UK’s favourite children’s theme park; the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is the ultimate destination for families with children age 2-12. The Resort is home to three awesome LEGO themed Hotels and a host of rides, shows and attractions built around the iconic LEGO brick. This role is based at the Windsor theme park, located in 150 acres of beautiful parkland.
