Transaction Assistant We are looking for a Transaction Assistant to join our fast-paced and diverse team of Private Shoppers. Delivering world class service to Harrods’ most loyal clients and consistently exceeding their expectations is in our DNA. About the Role As a Transaction Assistant you will be working alongside our Private Shopping team, responsible for delivering a seamless client experience at point of sale. Below are just a few of the things you will be responsible for: Assisting the Private Shopping team with their client shopping requests, this might be during an appointment or afterwards with payment processing, packing and dispatch. Arranging add on services such as alterations, gift wrapping, arranging a delivery and other services across the store. Investigating quotes for dispatch and delivery arrangements, both locally and internationally as required through our in-store specialist teams. Adhering to the Harrods Policy, Procedures and due diligence guidelines. Upholding the Harrods Values and striving to deliver the best luxury service at point of sale by providing an impartial central support to our Private Shopping team. About You You will have excellent customer service skills and be confident that the decisions you make will be in the best interest of our customers. You will ensure that you develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers alike, whilst being able to handle a wide range of responsibilities. In order to be successful for this role, you will possess the following skills and behaviours: Passionate about delivering the very best for our clients, and luxury service standards at all times. Able to multi-task within a busy environment. Knowledgeable in a range of currency. A flexible approach to working within a large team, including assisting one or more Private shoppers at once. Initiative and the ability to think on your feet. Process orientated, organised and methodical in your approach to any given task. A team player and collaborative style.
