Higher Level Teaching Assistant BS16 Full-Time Interventions TA I am currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant or a Qualified HLTA on a Full-Time basis for a school in the BS16 area of South Gloucestershire. This position is to support group interventions throughout the school and to cover any Teacher absences. The Role This role is a full-time position starting in September, where the successful candidate will work throughout this 2 form entry school, working with small groups of children supporting Maths, English, Phonics, Spelling and much more. You will be working closely with children with SEMH needs who have been identified to need alternative school provision for specific periods. You will need to communicate clearly with Class Teachers, their progress and areas of development to help with planning of interventions. You will be expected to: Be an experienced, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful person Have good communication and organisational skills Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum. Be creative, adaptable and supportive - be emotionally intelligent. Support the class teachers with interventions, lessons and behaviour management.
