Job Purpose
* Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets
* Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence
* Tracking progress including WIP and billing targets
* Leading a team of accountants by reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you
* Closely monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
* Using computer software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
* Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
* Building trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handing queries
* Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
* Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on Manager

The Successful Candidate
* ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
* Qualified by experience also considered
* A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice
* Previous experience leading a team, including reviewing work and providing mentorship
* Good communication and advisory skills
* Professional, reliable and keen to progress within the firm
* A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
* Organised and able to oversee a team’s workload effectively
