JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Export Manager to oversee and expand our International Sales, Distribution, and Account Management. We are seeing strong traction across European markets with promising opportunities in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, managing export operations, and building strong relationships with international partners. This role will require some travel to attend industry events and meet clients, as well as a strong understanding of global trade regulations and logistics.
We are looking for somebody with entrepreneurial spirit and keen to explore other areas of the business. This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate expected to be in the office 3 times per week (depending on location).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:
· Together with the owners continue to develop and implement the export sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
· Identify and secure new business opportunities in international markets.
· Conduct market research to assess potential demand, competition, and pricing strategies.
· Negotiate and close deals with overseas distributors, retailers, and partners.
Distribution & Logistics:
· Manage and optimise the international supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
· Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
· Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and documentation requirements.
· Oversee inventory and warehouse management related to export operations.
Account Management & Customer Relations:
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing international clients and distributors.
· Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly to maintain high service levels.
· Provide training and support to key partners to enhance brand presence and sales.
· Track sales performance and generate reports for senior management.
Event Attendance & Brand Representation:
· Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
· Present products and solutions to potential clients and industry stakeholders.
· Build strong relationships with industry influencers, trade bodies, and government agencies.
Other Responsibilities:
· Monitor and adapt to changes in trade policies, tariffs, and currency exchange rates.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor campaigns for international markets.
Key Requirements:
· Experience: whilst sector experience is desired, experience in export management and international sales is a requirement
· Skills & Competencies:
o Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
o Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies in global markets.
o Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
o Ability to travel internationally as required.
o Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems is an advantage.
o Additional language skills desirable but not essential
o Want to be part of a team and work collaboratively
o Happy to get involved in other aspects of the business
o Keen interest in Food & Drink
o Excellent communication skills and an ability to form quick rapport that turn into strong long-lasting relationships is essential.
o Proactive individual who doesn’t need someone over their shoulder telling them what to do. You need to think like an entrepenuer
