Creative Artworker, Leicester, to £28k
With a portfolio of Global Brand names, this Leicestershire based company prides itself on providing a high-quality service to all their customers from initial concept and design stages through to onsite installation.
Due to continued and sustained business growth, they are now seeking an experienced Mac Artworker with a background in working on Signage, Retail Graphics, POS and/or Displays to join their Artworking Team.
Working closely with company’s Accounts team ensuring all jobs are completed on time and are print ready. This will involve creating cutter guides, adding artwork to development drawings, setting artwork for prototypes and laying up panels for production. A good knowledge and understanding of print prepress, preparing print ready PDFs for digital flat-bed and roll-fed printers is essential.
Requirements:
* Commercial Artworking experience working within a Studio or Creative/Marketing Team.
* Good working knowledge of Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Acrobat).
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding and prioritising production work when needed.
* Gaining information on material spec, printing process and sending artwork to different departments.
* Supporting other colleagues in their role, by checking over work before print.
* Proactive and self-motivated and able to work to multiple deadlines.
* Careful and methodical, with good attention to detail.
* Good organisational and verbal/written communication skills.
* Sponsorship is not available so you will need to be UK based with full leave to remain.
This is a site based role Monday to Friday
Normal hours of work are 8am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on a Friday. With a one hour lunch break. During busy periods you may be required to work additional hours.
