* Do you want to make a difference to the environment while enjoying fresh air and activity outdoors, meeting like-minded people?
* Do you have gardening skills to share or have been hoping to develop some new gardening skills?
The Friends of the Spode Rose Garden are welcoming new friends to come and join in with looking after this important City Pocket Park and would love to welcome you to our new regular Friday lunchtime gardening sessions. Volunteers tell us that they enjoy making a difference in their local community, and we know that getting involved really does make a big difference in maintaining and developing this beautiful space for the people of the City.
Each session runs from 12-2pm and will begin with a discussion about the activities for the day. Activities will include weeding, pruning, propagating plants, sowing, and growing from seed, etc. The next sessions are:
* 6th December
* 10th January
* 24th January
* 7th February
* 21st February
* 7th March
All welcome, refreshments available!
Minimum age: 18
