About the role
The school is looking for a Teacher of Food Technology to join the successful Food Technology department. You will be responsible for;

o Teaching: Delivering engaging and effective Food Tehcnology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11).
o Planning & Preparation: Developing lesson plans and resources that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported.
o Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assessing students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and using data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
o Classroom Management: Maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating a positive and productive classroom environment.
o Collaboration: Working closely with the department and wider school staff to deliver an integrated and cohesive curriculum.
o Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice and stay up-to-date with educational developments.
Am I suitable?
The successful candidate for the Teacher of Food Technology position will have to have:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- ECT applications also welcomed
- Degree or Higher in relevant field
- At least 1 year teaching experience to Secondary age pupils
- Unqualified Teacher applications will be considered if the candidate can showcase a vast experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level food Technology
