We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will drive product growth and sales to a range of businesses throughout the UK. Increasing uptake of our membership, training, events and sponsorship products and services, you will be the vital link connecting us and businesses across the engineering community. You will join the Learning and Development customer-facing team, primarily focusing on partnering and building relationships, managing key accounts and ensuring financial and non-financial targets are achieved. Your role will involvetravelling across the UK to represent IMechE at customer and industry events. About You To be considered as a Business Development Manager, you will need: - Proven experience in relationship management or business development - A good understanding of CRM systems such as MS Dynamics - Financial and commercial awareness, with strong budget management skills - Enthusiasm for supporting engineers and organisations toward growth and improvement - The ability to work with a wide range of clients, from apprentices to directors - Previous experience working in a membership-based environment would be beneficial, but is not essential - A full, valid driving licence (up to six points) The Benefits - Salary circa £40,000 per annum, depending on experience - Car allowance - 26 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays - An extra day off for your birthday - Benefits including stakeholder pension scheme, life assurance and private health cover - Continuous training and career development - A range of wellbeing benefits to encourage a healthy work-life balance This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship management or business development professional to join our forward-thinking organisation.
