Our goal is to streamline operations and support our anticipated growth. Role Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and personable account assistant to focus on billings. This role is crucial as you will be the primary source of billing, working closely a colleague. Unlike similar roles in other companies where the focus might be on managing exceptions, this position involves hands-on billing responsibilities due to our current setup. Key Responsibilities: Manage and execute billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collate billing information from multiple manual sources. Perform billing calculations and formatting. Support improvement programs aimed at automating and modernizing billing processes. Utilize Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth billing operations. Qualifications: 2-3 years general accounting experience or experience in a similar role. Practical accounting skills with exposure to billing. Proficiency in Excel, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus, but not essential. AAT qualification or studier a bonus, but not essential. Skills and Attributes: Sharp, diligent, and thorough. Ability to recognize and manage income from different sources. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
