Inside Group is an established market leading business, that operates across multiple sectors, including new build housing, care, education, hospitality, residential and construction. We work with many northeast clients and national clients to deliver tailored bespoke solutions, for flooring, interior design, exterior design, window dressings, 3D plans, bespoke furniture and lighting and soft furnishings, our services also include cleaning, specialist cleaning such as brick, drive, and patio cleaning, as well as carpet and upholstery cleaning.
As a group we employ 70 people and additional have over 40 sub-contractors that work across the business.
Job Summary
Due to expansion and growth, across the business, we are seeking an individual to join our established team, who is adaptable in dealing with a variety of clients and their end users.
Reporting to the Planning & Quality Manager, you will be proactive in the acknowledgment of orders, dealing with queries and maintaining high standards of communication at all times.
We operate in a busy and demanding environment, and at times workloads become high, especially during quarter end, half year and year end periods. You will be working in a team of three people, processing, planning and ordering stock for new orders.
To be successful, you will need to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
This is a fast-paced environment, you must be quick thinking and highly motivated, with the ability to perform under pressure. The industry is changing daily, so you will need to welcome new challenges and be willing to learn new skills.
Key duties and responsibilities
· To acknowledge new orders.
· To create cutting plans and job sheets for new orders.
· To build sale’s and raise purchase order’s for new sales.
· To order stock for new sales.
· To produce quotations for the new build and customer care team.
· To assist customer care in planning for customer care work.
· To assist the Planning & Quality Manager in working on new tenders.
· To liaise with sales in regards to keeping samples current and ensure all sites have the correct samples needed.
· To assist on site with check measures and sub floor inspections
Persons Specification
· Previous experience of working in a fast-paced office environment.
· Excellent computer skills, with some experience of Excel / MS Office
· Must have outstanding attention to detail.
· Must be proactive and able to work independently, as well as being a positive team player.
· Knowledge of flooring products, desirable but not essential.
· Previous experience of working within new build sector, construction, or customer services desirable but not essential
· Previous site experience is desirable but not essential
· Self-driven, self-motivated individual that is proactive and takes the lead.
· Must possess strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
