Job Title: Embedded Software and Firmware Development Engineer
We are a leading UK manufacturer of audio and communications products for the broadcast television, radio, gaming, e-sports, and conference solutions industries. We are seeking a highly skilled embedded software and firmware development engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and writing code for microcontrollers and other devices across our range of proprietary hardware electronic products. They will be responsible for writing embedded firmware code in C/C++ for various devices, including STM32 ARM based MCUs, RP, and Sharc processors.
The role offers opportunities to develop and work on embedded Linux for kernel requirements and other device drivers, as well as PC-based programming. You will have the chance to work from inception to finished product on a variety of product types for different market applications within the business.
About You:
* You will have a strong understanding of embedded systems design and be confident in your skills in C/C++ to write good and robust code.
* You will have experience working with audio or video products and may have previous experience working in this field.
* You will enjoy working independently on your own product projects but also be comfortable collaborating and contributing as part of a team.
