Job Description
Our client is one of the most respected architectural and interior signage, and brand design firms in the world. They have offices in both Leeds & St Helen’s, with industry-leading manufacturing techniques and machinery. Due to a busy order book and an uplift in works in London and southern England, we are currently looking for someone to join the projects team in a remote capacity, focused on the southern region.
This position is ideal for a Project Manager, with experience in the signage, print, or visual display sectors.
Responsibilities
1. Overseeing multiple projects at a time, with values of anywhere between £10-150k
2. Liaising directly with the client, typically retailers, or shopfitting main contractors
3. Working alongside the design & manufacture teams, taking ownership of a project from brief to completion
4. Conducting site surveys focused on the South of England (mainly from Birmingham to London); primarily work is UK wide, with some projects in mainland Europe
5. Making installation arrangements with the in-house site teams, subcontractors, and the client
6. Working in a fast-paced industry, supported by a growing projects team
7. Dealing with any potential issues and client queries
Person Specification
1. Experience working on retail projects; ideally signage experience, alternatively a background in shopfitting or visual displays would be advantageous
2. Client-facing experience
3. IT literate including Microsoft Office products
4. Full UK driving licence
5. Ideally based south of Birmingham
Job Details
1. Car allowance is available, IT and phone provided
2. This is a home-based position, with travel to site essential when required. Occasional trips to Leeds HQ or the North West office will be required when necessary for various production meetings
3. Full-time, permanent position
4. 21 days holiday + bank holidays, including shutdown over the Xmas period
