About the Role:
As a Logistics Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the delivery of materials to the production line. This position requires an individual who can work collaboratively across various functions both locally in the UK and internationally. You will be instrumental in aligning our processes with those of our sister factories across the Siemens network, ensuring the best practises are implemented and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor material management/logistics activities in projects, ensuring an economical and customer-focused supply chain.
Develop and continuously enhance project-specific customer supply chain concepts based on requirements and cost accounting principles.
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Procurement, Purchasing, and Project Management to coordinate supply chain-specific requests.
