Full-Time Physics Teacher (April 2025 - End of School Year)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Physics Teacher to join a dynamic team at a secondary school in West Lancs. This exciting opportunity will begin on April 22nd, 2025, and run until the end of the academic year.
As a valued member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Physics lessons to students aged 11-16. You will also be expected to plan and mark students' work, ensuring that all pupils have the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging Physics lessons to students in years 7-11.
Plan, prepare, and mark lessons and homework.
Provide feedback to students to help them improve and achieve their potential.
Work collaboratively with the Science department and other staff members.
Support and monitor student progress throughout the year.Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Passionate about teaching Physics and inspiring young minds.
Able to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage students.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Willing to work hard, including planning and marking students' work.The essentials:
QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4
Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
Full and complete 10-year career history
Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
