Keep Wales Tidy is the charity committed to working with local communities across Wales to protect our environment now and for the future.
The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing project delivery across Central West Wales (including line management of the regional staff), identifying and developing new opportunities and income generation activities within the region (covering the counties of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Bridgend).
The role will be flexible, with priorities changing depending on current funding sources and national priorities, including the delivery of paid-for service with companies, schools and other partners.
You should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of local environmental quality (LEQ), green infrastructure, community engagement and sustainable development, and have proven experience in organising events, presentations, and of delivering training. We would also like to see examples of income generating activities.
To enable you to do the job, you will need to demonstrate that you have at least three years relevant work experience, have proven experience of managing and supporting staff, and be able to demonstrate success in project management.
Your personal attributes should introduce you as a flexible team player with a collaborative work ethos and a willingness to work flexible hours as required. You should further have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Finally, you should be willing and able to travel throughout Wales where required.
The role is homebased with a requirement to travel and work across Central West Wales.
The role is 35 hours a week with the opportunity to work flexible hours.
Salary £37,797 - £44,300
