Job Title: Lead Project Professional - Delivery

Salary: From £45,628 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
* Directing and enabling Embedded Engineering teams to deliver a core scope of work in line with the project plan
* Managing and maintaining the project delivery plan and the interdependencies with the wider stakeholders
* Performing advanced project reporting & scheduling with the ability to undertake advanced problem solving typically based on previous experience
* Managing the full project lifecycle to ensure that, over time, the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
* Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
* Supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation and with the wider stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Recognised Project Management qualification or equivalent by experience
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications in addition to Planning toolsets such as Microsoft Projects or Primavera P6
* Excellent Stakeholder Management experience
* Demonstratable experience in Project Lifecycle Management
* Experience in project reporting metrics
Desirable:
* Previous experience in leading and mentoring a team

The Test & Facilities Capability team:
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the expanding Test & Facilities Capability Team. In this role, you will work alongside various cross-functional teams to facilitate and support off-boat testing for the Dreadnought Programme. You will play a key role in enabling the delivery of software and hardware before they are deployed to the boat. It's an exciting time to join the team, as you will also engage in development opportunities for future capabilities and platforms. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
