Our Company CSE is a specialist supplier of precision engineered sheet metal parts, fabricated sheet metal frames and other components to a varied number of sectors which include but not exclusive to are: science, medical, food industry, automotive, electronics, robotics and automation, retail, and rail. The role - CNC Press brake / Laser Operator CNC Press brake operator to work in a busy sheet metal factory on light to medium gauge material. Must be able to work unsupervised. The ideal candidate would have experience on an Amada CNC Press brake. Or have experience in operating a CNC press brake, and be able to read 3rd and 1st angle drawings. Ability to work on your own initiative and a focus on improving manufacturing methods. An understanding of other sheet metal machinery and processes would also be advantageous such as Laser cutting machine (LVD 3015) The Role: Pressing using the CNC Brake Presses (Amada) to produce customer's orders on time and to the correct quality standard Setting the machine – reading engineering drawings, programming machine, tooling changes etc. Housekeeping - ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the press area is always maintained to a high standard To ensure that all paperwork is completed in line with quality and customer specification. Our requirements: Practical experience and knowledge of sheet metal techniques is beneficial Previous engineering experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Ability to use machines, hand and power tools The Package: As a CNC Press brake / Laser Operator you will be working a 4 day week Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:45pm, and will benefit from: Hourly rate will range from £15 - £16 per hour with the level dependent on experience Paid overtime available from time to time Contributory pension scheme 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (Pro-rata for 4 day week) How to Apply All applications for this Press brake Operator are to be submitted online, and strictly no agency calls or agency CV submissions.
