£24,000 - £25,000 base salary (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
Mileage paid at 50p per mile

As a Property Manager you arrange and oversee the day to day maintenance of a portfolio of residential properties. You will be expected to liaise with the property users
such as Leaseholders, Freeholders and Residents Management Companies as well as dealing with the service charge budget, daily expenditure, the accounts, health and safety and ensuring compliance within the terms of the Lease and current legislation. You will undertake regular inspections of your portfolio and attend resident’s meetings. The aim of our client, is for all their staff to deliver a pro-active personal service to all clients so as to grow and retain business.
As a property manager in a letting agency, your main responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of rental properties on behalf of landlords. This will involve tasks such as:
1. Property Maintenance: You will be responsible for ensuring that properties are maintained to a high standard and that any repairs or maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner.
2. Tenant Relations: You will be the main point of contact for tenants, dealing with any queries or issues they may have. You will also be responsible for screening tenants, arranging viewings, and drafting tenancy agreements.
3. Legal Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that all rental properties are compliant with relevant legislation, such as health and safety regulations, and that all necessary licenses and permits are obtained.
The successful candidate will need to have:-
* Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise your workload, work well under pressure, along with the ability to communicate well at all levels.
* Previous property management experience would be ideal however isn't essential if you come from a strong customer service / admin background.
* All property managers are encouraged to study for and obtain industry recognised qualifications from the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) in anticipation of future regulation of the property management industry.
* Hold a valid UK driving licence and own car
