My client manufacture a comprehensive range of Control & Automation Components and work with a wide network of Wholesale customers. Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Take ownership of customer interactions. Product Knowledge: Be technically knowledgeable about all product lines sold by the business. Pre-Qualification: Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate. Sales Strategy: Follow, plan, and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies. Record Keeping: Follow up on visits and maintain records of your sales pipeline. CRM Maintenance: Maintain CRM records for discounts, contacts, and carriage for any customer you interact with. Cold Calling: Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings. Promotion: Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn. Marketing Events: Plan and execute marketing events throughout the financial year. Account Management: Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business. Qualifications: Education: HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential) Pressure Management: Ability to work well under pressure. Personality: Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone. Time Management: Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions. IT Skills: Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Communication: Strong communication skills.
