Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our client's team in Kent. The successful candidate will lead and manage mechanical projects from conception to completion, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and within budget;
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies;
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through effective communication and project reporting;
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, estimators, and site managers, to deliver projects efficiently;
* Analyze and mitigate risks, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements;
* Manage and optimize project budgets, forecasting and controlling expenditure to ensure profitability;
* Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance project delivery and outcomes;

Our client is a leading M&E contractor providing managed mechanical and electrical services across the UK. With experience in multiple sectors, including commercial, retail, residential, defence, and specialist projects, they offer a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or construction management;
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in the mechanical or M&E sector;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders;
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools, such as Asana or Trello;
* A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements;
