Job title: Client Manager (Energy) – Maternity Cover
Working hours: 37.5 (Monday – Friday)
Location: Leicester (Hybrid)
Salary: £38,200 - £45,000 FTE
Joining an established, multi-award-winning energy & sustainability consultancy, you’ll be working within a team of great people and will have some huge brands as your clients, not only in the UK but globally. We’ll provide you with all the tools and support needed to really develop your skills, so that you can develop your clients’ strategies and help us meet our mission target.

Our Consultancy Services teams are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our global clientele. Our team is built of like-minded people who are experienced and passionate about what they do, and are now looking for the right person to join them on a 9-month maternity cover basis.
Managing a portfolio of approx. 15 of our largest accounts, you will be the primary point of contact between your clients and our internal teams, ensuring their needs are always met. You’ll use your knowledge and skills to deliver, inform and resolve client requests, with the help of your very own Client Executive supporting you!
About you and what to expect
With extensive energy industry experience, you should be a clear communicator who is confident in holding consultative conversations, creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships. You must be particularly knowledgeable and confident discussing flexible products, flexible contracts and net zero services. You’ll also need:
* Consultancy experience
* Ability to identify potential upselling opportunities
* A genuine passion for excellent customer service and retention
* Ability and willingness to travel to clients whenever required
You will be well-organised, managing your own schedule to juggle various tasks such as regular client communication, traveling to meet your clients, ensuring all systems are up to date, booking renewals, aligning clients with relevant services and issuing reports to name a few.
