We are seeking Children’s Residential Support Workers who are dedicated to offering a safe, nurturing environment for children and being a positive, consistent role model in their lives.
What will I do as a Children's Residential Support Worker?
• You will be a positive role model for the children within Amegreen Children’s Services, offering care and support to children providing structure, consistency, and nurturing as part of day-to-day living, always ensuring the safety of each child.
• You will build effective relationships with the children, support them with routine, join the children in activities and holidays, creating meaningful care plans, working together with parents, teachers, therapists, and social workers, write reports and ensuring records are kept clear and up to date.
• Help our children develop self-esteem, a feeling of safety and develop personal strategies to deal with behaviours that challenge and ultimately to achieve their optimum potential.
Hours: 40 hour working week (Bonus: 4 sleep-ins per month £50 per weekday and £60 per weekend - earnings start from £2,300 per annum)
