Join Absolute Taste at the iconic Burghley House as a Retail Manager Burghley House is a fabulous Tudor mansion situated just outside Stamford, Northamptonshire and is home to the world-famous Burghley Horse Trials. The food and beverage offering at Burghley is diverse, consisting of The Orangery Restaurant, The Garden Cafe and The Shed, along with bespoke events and weddings. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate leader to oversee our retail operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and driving business growth. As a Retail Manager, you will: Lead and manage all aspects of each individual retail unit's operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management. Drive sales and profitability through effective cost management, upselling strategies, and promotional initiatives. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching, training, and developing team members. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Prepare and analyse financial reports, including P&L statements and budget forecasts, to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and supply chain, to implement company initiatives and achieve business objectives. Why Join Us? Requirements: Proven experience in retail management or a similar role Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed This role is 40 hours per week, the successful candidate will need to work 5 out of 7 days based on business needs.
