Executive Assistant to the Chairman
Permanent, part-time
London
Working hours Mon-Fri, 10am - 3pm, 22.5 hours per week
This is an integral role for an established and growing medical technology organisation based in London. You will report to the Chairman and Founder of the business and ensure smooth, confidential and professional planning of their daily activities.
Core requirements of the role include but are not limited to:
* Managing the Programme for the Executive Chairman to include scheduling and running meetings both domestic and international, drafting written correspondence, preparing agendas and taking minutes at meetings.
* Assist or action where appropriate, the follow-ups from meetings.
* Work closely with global colleagues to streamline processes, as well as the Academic PA for the Chairman.
* Handle all incoming calls and email correspondence for the Executive Chairman in a polished and efficient manner.
* Book and create agile itineraries for all travel and accommodation as necessary.
* Organise investor events and contribute to maintaining fruitful investor relations.
* Act as a conduit for decision-making in loco of the Chairman at meetings and events.
* Carry out your own research and create reports as required.
Your background:
* You will have supported in an EA/PA capacity at C-Suite Executive level and bring an understanding of the nuances and confidentiality required in this role.
* Well-developed and robust communication skills, both verbal and in written form.
* Curious by nature, always seeking out a better way of fulfilling a request. Analytical by approach with a background in carrying out your own research in a technical area.
* Strong MS Office skills, as well as Mac applications and the ability to contribute to the business’s social media presence through working with PR agencies on content.
* Good commercial acumen, thriving in an agile environment.
* Life Science or Technology industry background would be an advantage.
