Job Title: Work Transfer Manager - UK
Location: Deeside/ Cheltenham. Travel to other sites may be required.
Overview
Reporting to the Operating Company Director for Supply Chain, to manage Work Transfer activity between Triumph’s UK suppliers to suppliers that are predominantly based in lower cost economies (LCE). Closely working with the in-region team who spend most of their time at the future state suppliers and their sub-tiers.
Key Responsibilities
• Main point of liaison between the business and the supply chain resources in the LCE countries for parts that are in the Work Transfer process stage.
• Manage Work Transfer Projects in line with the Triumph supply chain management processes, defining the baseline and transfer project deliverables, risk assessments, detailed project planning, action owners, progress tracking (FAFP), Overlap plan, CMPT & PPI alignment and maintaining project schedule.
• Closely work with the business functions Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering, etc. to ensure full product / part manufacturing knowledge is transferred to the in-region team before the Work Transfer is launched.
• Work with the in-region team to ensure the supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness and first article flow plans are robust and in place to deliver projects in compliance to customer requirements.
• Support visits from the LCE suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments etc.
• Manage the PO’s for P/N’s that are in the WT Phase and the exit supplier relationships to ensure the transfer is orderly and does not create risk to the business.
• Reports back to the business, OpCo leadership and corporate supply chain leadership on a regular basis to ensure they are fully updated on the Work Transfer progress and identify areas of help needed.
• Support the improvement of Triumph supply chain processes.

Reporting deadlines are achieved to agreed delivery plan, goals are set and achieved through ongoing appraisal.
Qualifications and Criteria:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Business Management related subject (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering.
CIPS or APICS qualification is preferred.

Familiar with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and Production Planning concepts.
