Job Description
We are Lyons Holidays Parks, family owned for over 100 years! We welcome over 9,000 families to North Wales and Cumbria each year across our nineteen holiday parks, luxury hotels and restaurants. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our team at Lyons Sunnysands Holiday Park near Barmouth. If leading a successful team of people is your number one skill whilst having a 5-star service mentality and critical eye for detail, then read on!
Supported by the Head of Food & Beverage, our Food & Beverage Managers are strong leaders, confident decision makers, exercise sound judgement and manage conflicting priorities when under pressure whilst having lots of experience in managing a profit centre successfully.
You will lead and inspire the Food & Beverage teams on park with the aim to maximise and grow F&B sales, profit, service & quality, guest satisfaction and team retention. By leading the team, you will deliver a common purpose of creating an exceptional experience for our guests and owners.
Responsibilities for the Role:
Business:
1. F&B Growth - To maximise team performance through leading and directing your team. Deliver Year on year Sales Growth and exceed budgeted profit. Drive Sales through outstanding delivery of food, drink and service. To actively control labour deployment and flex consistently across the area, ensuring engagement with the tools available.
2. Owner/Guest – Work collaboratively with the General Manager to create unforgettable experiences and manage promotions to deliver targeted growth and customer satisfaction.
3. Safety - To safeguard the Lyons brand and reputation of the business through the execution of all brand standards and maintain the quality in all aspects of the business. Conduct service audits to ensure brand standards are adhered to. Be accountable for Health & Safety standards, driving actions from audits, EHO or other governing body. Safeguard the bar against legal claims. Proactively manage Hygiene levels with the aim of achieving a 5-star hygiene rating. Ensure that all areas comply with all legal requirements and are safe and clean in line with standards and protocols.
4. Costs - To maximise profit contribution through monitoring cost control and recognise where you can add most value in this area.
Guests:
1. Guests & Owners – Work collaboratively with Head of Food and Beverage to ensure that teams are focused on putting guests first.
2. Build strong relationships with our owners and holidaymakers and continuously improve on feedback.
Team:
1. Coaching & Development – Coach, mentor and lead by example in the delivery of the day-to-day objectives. Communicate key messages to your team. Ensure that personal objectives are set and team and are aligned to the specified service and hospitality standards. Ensure all team complete Health & Safety and Food Hygiene training.
