Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Carnforth Area
Due to expansion and internal promotion, we are looking to employ a Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
1. Weekly handovers within your area of work
2. Weekly checks of paperwork and medication
3. Signing in any medication and ensuring all paperwork is up to date
You will also provide bespoke care to service users with a wide range of impairments, supporting and promoting their independence where possible. This may include:
1. Personal care
2. General tidying
3. Light cleaning duties
4. Meal planning
5. Assisting with medication
6. Providing companionship
This list is not exhaustive.
You must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, taking into account the variety of complex and sensitive situations that occur both internally and externally.
Due to the nature of the post, it is essential that you have experience within the domiciliary care industry. It is desirable that you have experience leading a team; however, this is not essential.
