Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Temporary Accommodation service in the role of Placement and Temporary Accommodation Officer. The role is a full-time, 37 hours per week and will require the post holder to work from Riverside House, our office at Hellaby, and will require visits throughout the Borough as required.
Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the Homelessness and Temporary Accommodation teams to organise all homeless household placements into temporary accommodation.
2. Be operationally responsible for scheduling and organising all homeless household placements into and out of temporary accommodation.
3. Ensure all sign-ups into temporary accommodation are planned efficiently and thoroughly.
4. Consider customer support needs and tailor the approach to ensure customers understand their placement and responsibilities.
5. Help minimise any issues and make the experience a positive one for customers.
Qualifications
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude who works well with others, has a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and has a proven track record for offering support and advice to our customers.
