Edinburgh Dental Specialists are looking to expand our clinical team, and we’re looking for a Specialist in Oral Surgery to join us. Supported by a strong referral base and hardworking, collaborative colleagues, we offer an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Focus: Conducting extractions with precision and care for our valued patients.

What We’re Looking For:
A qualified and registered Oral Surgeon with relevant certifications and experience.
Proven expertise in performing dental extractions efficiently and comfortably for patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
A commitment to maintaining the highest clinical standards and adherence to best practices.
A bit about us
We are based in the centre of Edinburgh, but many of our colleagues and clinicians commute from the areas surrounding Edinburgh by bike, train and bus.
We have been established as a practice for 30 years, and as a specialist referral practice since 1996. We have a strong referral base in all aspects of dentistry and provide all levels of oral surgery services appropriate to primary care.
We want everyone who works at Edinburgh Dental Specialists to be able to bring their whole and best selves to work every day. Our team work hard to maintain our independent culture whilst benefitting from the corporate support of Portman-Dentex.
A bit about you
We are looking for a GDC registered specialist in oral surgery, who has experience in complex cases, an excellent chairside manner and a patient-centre approach to care.
You must be trained and competent in intravenous sedation and willing to sedate for surgical colleagues undertaking complex procedures, as well as your own patients.
