Duties and Responsibilities: In conjunction with our Chief Nursing Officer and Matron, provide effective leadership, monitoring of professional and care standards with effective use of resources Be a visible and accessible presence in the clinical area for patients, relatives and mutli-professional staff Responsible for ensuring the provision of compassionate, safe and exceptional patient care Role modelling professional standards and supporting the teams professional and career aspirations Create a culture that is one of learning and focused on improvements where all of the team can contribute Demonstrate a professional approach to work, and act in accordance with the HCA International Code of Conduct and the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times. Develop the role by using evidence-based practice and continuously improve own knowledge, following PREP guidelines. Maintain confidentiality surrounding the patients admission and treatment at all times. Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timescales using HCA International approved documentation, in line with NMC and HCA International guidelines. Have knowledge of and adhere to ward and HCA International policy and professional standards. To ensure that team members do likewise Actively manage annual leave in line with HCA Internationals leave policy. Appropriatelyescalateconcernsin a timely mannerto theMatron/Clinical Duty Manager or leadership teams if/when required.
