As a Financial Director for a key division of national market leading business, this role takes ownership of all financial aspects of the division, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and providing financial leadership to support key strategies and operations.\n\nYour core responsibilities:\n\nSupport the Managing Director in strategic planning, business growth, and decision-making.\nManage all aspects of financial control, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.\nEnsure adequate cash flow for operations and investments.\nProduce monthly management accounts, weekly forecasts, and analytical commentary.\nTrack financial performance against budgets and suggest areas for improvement.\nHandle quarterly VAT returns, P11D submissions, PAYE, pensions, and audit processes.\nInvolved in P&L, balance sheet, and liquidity planning.\nProvide pricing guidance, support tenders, and manage annual price adjustments.\nDevelop and manage a high-performing finance team and promote internal financial controls.\nDrive automation, continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to group processes.Our essential requirements:\n\nProfessional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with 3 years PQE\nProven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and compliance (e.g. VAT, PAYE, P11D, audits).\nAbility to provide strategic, commercial, and analytical support to drive business growth, assess investment opportunities, and support decision-making.\nExperience in leading and developing finance teams, implementing internal controls, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
