Job Title: Project Accountant

Salary: Up to £43,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing Canadian River Class Destroyer programme supplier invoicing to ensure payment within terms
* Analysing material and labour for the Project Team, and consolidating material forecast data to support internal and external reporting
* Maintaining the Invoice Tracker and communicating with Shared Services
* Preparing the River Class Destroyer stock and commitment reports
* Resolving internal and external financial data queries and complying with the BAE Systems Financial Controls Framework
* Supporting Integrated Business Plan (IBP) and Monthly Management Reporting (MMR), cash forecasting, and cost management to ensure robust outputs for key financial reporting requirements
* Delivering Month End activities per schedule in order to meet the deadlines of the business/customer
Your skills and experiences:
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge and engage
* Confident user of Excel
* Experience of accounting processes including invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting
* Part-qualified or studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
